We usually go out for "date night" on Friday and Tori pretty much always comes, too. Our regular activity seems to be going out somewhere to eat, and this last Friday it happened to be Old Chicago. We ordered pizza, breadsticks and fries, thinking that Tori would like to share them all with us. It turned out that the only thing she wanted to eat was the french fries. She also decided she had to dip them in ranch dressing before eating them. She would take a fry and dip it in the ranch dressing about five times and then put it in her mouth and suck the ranch dressing off, and then repeat this. I think she ate more ranch than she did fries. OH well. Kids will be kids!!
Tori is also hitting the pre-potty training stage now. She always tells me "poo-poo" when she has made a deposit in her diaper, and sometimes she will even bring me a clean diaper to put on her. She is such a big girl! I can't believe she is almost 17 months old now.
We are getting ready to go to Salt Lake to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with Ben's family. It should be fun and I know Tori will be totally ecstatic over getting to play with her 5 cousins. I dread the 5+ hour drive because Tori doesn't like being strapped in her carseat that long, so it could get pretty crazy. Hopefully she will sleep at least part of the way, but you never know.
